Happy World Teachers' Day!

The Pasco Democrats extend our sincere thanks to teachers all across Pasco County and the State of Florida. Because of you, our lives have resembled some sense of normalcy during the Covid-19 pandemic. Your dedication to the future leaders of our country is remarkable and inspiring.

This World Teachers’ Day, we urge counties across the state and the Florida State Legislature to take bold action. Our teachers deserve fair pay and should not have to spend out of their own pockets for basic supplies to teach our children. For the 2020-21 school year, Florida ranks third to last in the nation for teacher pay. This is unacceptable. Show your support for our teachers by urging your local elected officials to pay our teachers fairly!
